F'xa
The client
EY commissioned the project for its Innovation Realized conference, working with the Feminist Internet, a collective focused on building a more equal internet.
The brief
Create a playful and accessible experience that helped people understand bias in artificial intelligence and consider what can be done to reduce it.
What we made
- A ten-day sprint from brief to live prototype, delivered with the Feminist Internet team
- F’xa, an AI chatbot that explains bias in AI in clear, conversational language
- A chatbot shaped by the Feminist Internet’s Personal Intelligent Assistant standards and Josie Young’s Feminist Chatbot Design Process
- Deliberate design decisions throughout, including F’xa never referring to itself as “I”
- A live launch at EY’s Innovation Realized conference
My role
I managed the project from brief through to launch. I coordinated the work across the team, kept the sprint on track and supported the design and build process through to the live prototype.
